Pick-Up and Drop-Off Print

Parents,

Thanks for your cooperation with arrival and dismissal. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working on ways to make things run more smoothly. Keep in mind new families and students are just learning the process. We appreciate your support with the following general guidelines:

  • All children should exit and enter from the passenger side.
  • Parents should remain in their car at all times. Staff members will open the door and assist the child in and out of the car.
  • Parents should refrain from using cell phones during drop-off and pick-up. We need your full attention!
  • NO LEFT TURNS! When exiting the parking lots, please do not make left turns onto Spa Road or Forest Drive. This is a safety concern and also leads to back-ups in the parking lot. Morning Arrival should not exit onto Forest Drive at any time.
  • Please WAIT YOUR TURN! At no time, should one car pass another car while in line unless directed by a staff member.
  • We have a larger group of children using the single rider pick-up this year. As a result we are experiencing more back-ups. Please be patient while we adjust.
  • IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS! If you are picking up your MS student on the single rider side, please try to arrive 5 minutes earlier. The Middle School students are now being dismissed at 2:55 instead of 3:00.
  • Lower School will be dismissed at 3:00. Parents should plan to pick up 5 minutes later (3:05). Hopefully staggering pick ups will help traffic flow easier and alleviate back ups.
  • Single-rider parents picking up for a sporting event should not wait in carline. Please park your car in the parking lot and walk to the door for your child(ren). This will help to keep the carline moving since these students are often late while changing into sports clothing.
  • Note: If your child is using after care, personnel on duty can be reached at the following phone number: 443-454-6830
