We are Green! |
|
| BRAVO! HIP-HIP-HORRAY!
WAY TO GO, BULLDOGS!

We are GREEN!!!!!
After two years of hard work and the dedicated efforts of many, many people, St. Martin’s finally received notification that we are now officially a MARYLAND GREEN SCHOOL! The requirements to meet this certification are really quite strict and very time consuming. We are proud that so many parents, teachers, Board members, and of course our top-notch students, made this goal a reality. Particularly we want to thank Mr. Daniel Clark, our MS Science teacher, who chaired the committee and had his 6th grade class also working diligently on the project. There are far too many people to thank personally, but you know who you are, and we sincerely thank you.
St. Martin’s has GONE green! |

Weather Policy |
|
| If public schools close because of inclement weather (hurricane, snow etc), St. Martin's does too. If public schools are one hour late, St. Martin's will also open one hour late, and the morning Pre-K class will start at 9:30 and dismiss at its regular time. If there is a two hour delay, morning Pre-K will not meet. However, morning Pre-K students who are signed up to attend after Pre-K extended day may come to school at 10:30. For our extended day students who come in the morning, if school opens late, extended day opens respectively late for those students signed up to attend before school. If school is closed, Extended Day is also closed. If the county closes due to extreme heat, St. Martin's will remain open. If Anne Arundel County schools close early, we will also close early and will cancel all after school programs including Extended Day. Please be sure to have a back up plan arranged with a relative or neighbor to pick up your child in case you are unable to get to school promptly upon early closing. It is important that all children are picked up so that staff can also get home. |
