The staff of St. Martin's Lutheran School is an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated group of professionals. Our enrichment teacher provides enrichment programs for students who need additional challenges in the classroom.

The Pre-Kindergarten Program consists of a five day a week class for children who are four years old by September 1st. There are two sessions each day. The morning session runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The afternoon session is from 12:15 to 3:00 p.m. A teacher and an assisant instruct a class limited to 11 students. The program is designed to provide opportunites for the interaction between children during play as well as directed activities. Emphasis is placed on language development, listening skills, number concepts and physical development. Art, music, computers, religion and Spanish are integral parts of the program.

The Kindergarten Program is a full day program with a class size of 22 students. A teacher and an assistant provide instruction for the students in phonics-based reading, math, science, and social sudies. The students also learn art, computers, music, physical education, religion and Spanish.

The Primary and Intermediate Programs consist of one self-contained classroom for each grade. Class size is 22 students to one teacher in grades 1-2 and 24 students to one teacher in grades 3-5. Curriculum includes a phonics-based reading program, language arts, math, science, and social studies in the core program with Spanish, religion, art, music, physical education, computers, and library as auxiliary program.

The Middle School Program includes grades 6-8. Class size is 24 students. Students rotate classes of English, social studies, math, science, Spanish, religion, art, music, life sports/health, computer and community service requirement. The students may also participate in clubs and the Student Government Association.
