St. Martin's Lutheran Church School began in 1963 as a nursery school for four-year-olds. A kindergarten for five-year-olds was added. In keeping with St. Martin's desire to provide quality education within a Christian atmosphere, grade 1 was added in 1970, grades 2 and 3 were added in 1971, grade 4 in 1972 and grade 5 in 1973. In September 1974, with the addition of grade 6 and the opening of our new wing, St. Martin's was able to offer eight levels of preschool and elementary education.

History and GovernanceSt. Martin's Lutheran Church School was founded in 1963 as a mission of St. Martin's Lutheran Church to its members and to the community. The school has grown from a nursery and kindergarten to include grades one through eight. The school's policies are supervised by the Church Council via the School Board. |
