Lutheran Quarterly Launches Forde Fund to Support Evangelical Theology

The editors and officers of Lutheran Quarterly have created an endowment fund in memory of Gerhard O. Forde, the leading voice of "Radical Lutheranism" emphasizing justification by faith alone. Forde was a frequent contributor to Lutheran Quarterly and Lutheran Quarterly Books (Eerdmans), a longtime Vice President of the LQ Board, and Professor Emeritus of Luther Seminary. . . . more

WordAlone's Theological Advisory Board met November 16-18, 2002 in Mahtomedi, Minn. These international Lutheran theologians issued an Admonition for the Sake of the True Peace and Unity of the Church to the ELCA. More than 3,900 people have signed the "Admonition."
