The Social Ministry Committee is the arm of St. Martin's that seeks to fulfill Jesus's call to care for the poor and most vulnerable in our society. It is a Committee dedicated to service to the community. This Committee coordinates St. Martin's participation in the Lighthouse Shelter and the Lutheran Mission Society and works with the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services (DSS) to reach those in need.

The Social Ministry Committee invites and welcomes your interest and participation. Participation in this Committee offers the opportunity to fulfill Christ's mission to those in need, and, perhaps, the chance to make a difference in the life of someone less fortunate.
